The overall goal of this project was to create a new and interesting way to showcase the stories within The Chronicles of Narnia. In doing so each of the seven books have their own individual touches highlighting its story, while also fitting into the overall feel of the series.
At the end of the day The Chronicles of Narnia is classified as an older children's book. For this reason simple imagery was added to the covers that kids would be easily able to decipher and understand. The colors also took a more pastel form which is popular within children's merchandise, but is also very aesthetically pleasing for collectors books. The ornate line work was done in an effort to tie the books back to the era that they were written in, and to also give them a classic feel.
