I interned over the summer of 2020 at Grace Fellowship, MN. While interning I was the head designer of all summer outreach materials. The goal of the campaign was to give community members a sense of a warm and inviting environment, while the materials themselves had a pastel color scheme to create a sense of a warm tropical summer. The campaign focused on all homes and business within a 10 mile radius of Grace Fellowships campus.
One of the first materials that I created were the inviter cards. These cards were handed out to members of the community around Grace Fellowship inviting them to attend and find out more about the groups and community provided at and within the church. These were handed out by the summer interns, staff, and volunteers while out in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Another resource that was important to the overall goal of the summer outreach program were postcards within the summer theme. These postcards were sent out by both employees and attendees of Grace fellowship to personally connect with members of the community.
While out in the community the summer interns, staff members, and volunteers visited parks and sports complexes. While there, water bottles were handed out with this water bottle label, inviting recipients to join on Sundays.
The above are 4 individually colored sticker designs. These stickers labeled goodie bags handed out as outreach materials, and were also handed out individually to children when visiting parks or sporting activities.
The above designs were also created into t-shirts of the coinciding colors. These t-shirts were worn by the summer interns, volunteers, and staff members that engaged in any of the summer outreach events or activities.
