Front view of the check-in for the T-Shirt Bonanza event. Students can come in either groups or individually, get paired with an art or design student and proceed to design their own t-shirts.

goal
This project was an extension of the previous department rebrand, and was based on designing an experience that allowed participants to interact with the Bethel University Art and Design department in a new way. The experience is meant to appeal to an audience that might not otherwise interact with the Art and Design Department. The experience should also work to show participants that they can be creative in a variety of ways.
process
The way that I approached this project was to create an experience that a majority of students would like to participate in and to make it inclusive to anyone who wanted to participate. I decided to create an experience where, with the help of art and design students, participants were able to create and design their own screen printed t-shirts.
result
The final design was aimed at creating an enjoyable experience for both people participating as well as those who were in the area. Participants were able to create their own screen printed t-shirt designs, and passersby are able to vote on their favorite designs. The wall was both a place for t-shirts to be hung as well as a large, eye catching object.
