The first part of the rebrand process was to create a brochure for the Bethel University art and design department, utilizing the aspects of the new branding.
Banner stands will be used at various events where there would be a table promoting the department. One would be put on each side of the table.
Social media is a prominent way of getting people to know what you want them to. Because of this the department would also get all new totally rebranded social media accounts.
New merchandise that the department may have available to the students in the department and those who tour the department.
goal
The goal of this project was to re-brand the Bethel University Art and Design Department. The re-brand consisted of newly branded department brochure, banner stands, department merchandise and a social media account.

process
I rebranded the department in a way that kept the serious academic tone that Bethel University has, but added an element of fun and creativity that contrasted the serious academic tone. I approached the rebrand in a way in which the overall base design of the branding elements still maintained the academic tone, while I added hand drawn elements on top in order to create the feeling of a more welcoming and creative environment.

result
The final design is laid out in a way which allows for both the serious and the creative to be prominent and not compete with each other. The base structure of the design is very clean and academic, but it is spaced in a way to allow for the hand drawn elements to be able to have their own space and not have the spread get too crowded. The use of photos are also catered in a way to allow for the addition of illustrative elements.
